How to Prevent Goggle Leaks (Fit, Strap Setup, and Anti-Fog)
Stop goggle leaks with a better fit strategy: nose bridge sizing, strap angle, seal pressure, and anti-fog habits that actually work.
Seal test in 5 seconds
Press goggles lightly to your eyes without the strap. If they suction briefly, the gasket matches your face.
If you need extreme strap tension to stop leaks, the fit is wrong.
Strap angle matters more than tightness
Set the strap so it sits high on the back of the head, not down at the neck. This stabilizes the goggles on dives and turns.
Anti-fog: protect the coating
Avoid rubbing the inside lens. Rinse with clean water and let air-dry. If needed, use a purpose-made anti-fog spray.
